Ernest C. Lee D.M.D.

A native of Alabama, Dr. Lee grew up in Fort Deposit Alabama where his father practiced Dentistry and his grandfather was a General Practitioner of medicine. After graduation from Lowndes County High School he attended Auburn University where he graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in pre Dentistry .  Dr. Lee attended the University of   Alabama School of Dentistry. With an interest in Academics Dr. Lee served as the South Eastern Regional Chairman of the student section of the American Association of Dental School and the National chairman of the same organization his junior year of Dental School.  Dr. Lee was also a member of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and served his dental class in various positions.

UAB School of Dentistry invited Dr. Lee to join the faculty after completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr Lee remained on the faculty while establishing a practice in North Shelby County in the fall of 1978 where he has served the community for many years.

Dr Lee is committed to providing the best care for the patient and has attended many hours of continuing education including the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education in San Francisco California, many courses at the UAB School of Dentistry, UCLA Esthetic Dentistry Continuum, and the Nash Institute for Dental Learning to mention a few. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, The Alabama Dental Association, Birmingham District Dental Society, Academic of General Dentistry and the Seattle Study Club.

Drs. Lee and Melazzo are committed to providing the latest technology and Esthetic Dentistry.  We are a Cerec dental office (same day computer generated restorations) and experienced in smile make overs as well as full mouth rehabilitation.  Digital
radiography,  photography and functional evaluation allow us and our team of dental professionals to evaluate you and treat your dental needs.

Dr. Lee is married to Candace Shirley Lee, they have three children and three grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing and photography.  He is a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church where he serves as Elder and has been a leader of Boy Scout Troop 254 for twenty years.
